You can now select a picklist field to be searchable in Search Manager (Beta). Picklist offers a selection of options available for a specific field in a Salesforce object, such as a list of regions, so that users get the most relevant results.

You can now prompt your users to search for and select an option from a set of choices on a flow screen. With the Choice Lookup (this is beta!) flow screen component, your users can select from a list of external data values, picklist values, static values, or records that you filtered when you configured the flow.
For instance, rather than asking users to scroll through a long picklist to select a value, use the Choice Lookup (beta) component to enable users to search for values. The Choice Lookup (beta) component supports all choice resources, including collection choice sets and picklist choice sets.

Flow Limit of 2000 Elements Removed –

One of the major concerns in using flow was the governor limit on the execution of maximum number of elements per flow interview, which was 2000. This was a bit restrictive because if you had loops in the Flow, the limit was easily hit.
With Spring ’23 release, the limit of 2000 flow elements was removed. For this be sure that change the API version of your flow to 57.0
But note that even though this limit is no longer enforced, you may still hit the other limit of “Maximum CPU time on the Salesforce servers” which is 10,000 milliseconds (or 10 seconds), if you are executing thousands of elements in a Flow.

Data Table – flow screen component – you can now select multiple records

Add the Data Table flow screen component to display a table of records on a flow screen. You can set the table to read only or let users select one or more records, and then use their selections later in the flow.
This feature, which is now generally available, includes several enhancements since the last release:
• You can now preview the table in the New Screen window as you configure it and display composite fields like Name and Address.
• Additionally, the configuration panel for the table is reorganized to make it more intuitive and accessible.

Dynamically Pass Bind Variables to a SOQL Query

With the new Database.queryWithBinds, Database.getQueryLocatorWithBinds, and Database.countQueryWithBinds methods, the bind variables in the query are resolved from a Map parameter directly with a key rather than from Apex code variables. As a result, it’s not necessary for the variables to be in scope when the query is executed.
In this example, the SOQL query uses a bind variable for an Account name. Its value is passed in using the acctBinds Map.

Ever wondered there is an object called xxx_Shared? Salesforce provides implicit sharing between a parent account and its child objects (cases, contacts, and opportunities) and creates implicit child share records on these objects.
Its changing now:
The automatic sharing calculation works behind the scenes for case and contact objects. Salesforce will no longer store child implicit share records between accounts and their child case and contact records. Instead, the system dynamically determines whether users can access child case and contact records when they try to access them. Not storing the child implicit share records speeds up ownership and sharing rule recalculation for accounts.
